Spotted Grous

199,00 kr

Birds have a high visibility in nature and a marvelous aesthetic appeal making them a beloved subject to study both by professonals and amateurs.

Many naturalists and painters have been drawing birds non better than the American ornithologist, naturalist and painter John James Audubon with his work The Birds of America.

Grouse are game and as such hunters kill millions each year for food or sport. In this print however the lovely birds are peacefully enjoying the afternoon by the water.

Printed with Japanese archival ink on a matte Hahnemühle paper in our own studio in rural Copenhagen, Denmark.

Design no. 6525
