Fiske XXIV

Smoked or deep fried this was back in the day a popular fish in Danish cuisine. Today the eel is critical endangered. 

Besides Gul aal (Anguilla vulgaris) this print features Klæpaal (Anguilla vulgaris), Blank aal (Anguilla vulgaris), Havaal (Conger niger) and Malle (Silurus glanis).

Printed with Japanese archival ink on a matte Hahnemühle paper in our own studio in rural Copenhagen, Denmark.
