An essential part of a traditional rye bread lunch. Fermented with salt and vinegar, served with or without onions. 

Besides Rødspætte (Pleuronectes Platessa) this print features Laadden Varre (Zeugopterus punctatus), Tungevarre (Arnoglossus Laterna), Slette (Pleuronectes Limanda), and Mareflynder (Pleuronectes microcephalus).

Printed with Japanese archival ink on a matte Hahnemühle paper in our own studio in rural Copenhagen, Denmark.
