This beautiful drawing of altitudinal zonation is showing us how - on a mountain or in mountainous regions - the natural layering of ecosystems occurs at distinct elevations due to varying environmental conditions. The variety of trees growing in different hights and how the vegetation changes along with the altitude. 

Printed with Japanese archival ink on a matte Hahnemühle paper in our own studio in rural Copenhagen, Denmark.
